Riffing on the original Air Force 1 silhouette which has long been a mainstay in hip hop and urban street culture, Nike’s Special Field Air Force 1 sneakers have been designed with a utilitarian influence. Constructed from a super-tough ballistic nylon upper in faded light grey, the SF-AF1 design features a military inspired espionage pocket at the tongue, a lace-up front fastening, a pull tab at the rear and an adjustable and detachable ankle strap for a customised fit. Complete with chamois leather trims, this reinterpreted classic is set upon a rubber gum sole and finished with Nike’s iconic swoosh logo to each side.
